Travel Trend Hub is written from Seoul, for people about to visit Korea for the first time.
I’m Jen — I live in Seoul and write travel guides for a Korean audience on the side. This site started because so many of the questions foreign visitors ask (how much cash to bring, whether K-ETA applies to them, what a “motel” actually means here) have clean, checkable answers that most English-language travel content gets slightly wrong or leaves out entirely.
Every guide on this site is fact-checked against official sources — government sites, transit operators, and tourism authorities — before it’s published, and rechecked when Korea’s rules change (which happens often: K-ETA, entry cards, and transit passes have all changed multiple times in the past two years alone).
What You’ll Find Here
- Entry requirements: K-ETA, e-Arrival Card, visa exemptions
- Getting around: T-money, Climate Card, Incheon Airport transport, KTX
- Money: cash, ATMs, tax refunds
- Staying connected: eSIM, SIM cards, pocket WiFi, map apps
- Neighborhood and market guides beyond the obvious tourist stops
A Note on Affiliate Links
Some links on this site (eSIM, tours, transport passes) are affiliate links — if you book through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link providers I’d actually recommend, and I say so wherever they appear.
