L7 Myeongdong by Lotte Review: Prices, Location and Who It Suits
Short answer: Book L7 Myeongdong when you want Myeongdong's shopping streets on your doorstep and an airport bus that stops beside the hotel: Myeongdong Station Exit 9 is right next to it. Pick another hotel if you need a closed-off bathroom, because the rooms use an open-concept layout, and look at Jamsil or Gangnam if Lotte World or COEX is the main plan.

- First-time visitors who want to walk: the hotel is right by Exit 9 of Myeongdong Station (Line 4), with Myeongdong's shopping streets and Namdaemun Market close by.
- Airport days: Incheon Airport limousine bus 6015 (₩17,000 adult, ₩12,000 child) stops at Myeongdong Station Exit 8, beside the hotel.
- Small families: the Standard Family Twin Room has a double bed and a single bed for up to 3 guests.
- Longer stays: a 24-hour coin laundry on the 2nd floor has washers, dryers, a detergent machine and an iron.
Think twice if
- Rooms use an open-concept bathroom, so the sink and shower are not behind a closed door.
- Rooms have no toothbrush, toothpaste or razor (Lotte's Re:think policy); they are sold at the 3F MAXI BAR.
- The free 21st-floor foot spa closes from December to March, and Rooftop Bar Floating (17:00 to 01:30) is for ages 18 and over and needs a reservation.
