Most guides to Incheon Airport to Jamsil say “take the subway to Jamsil Station” and stop. No AREX train goes there, so that means a transfer with your bags. Two airport buses run straight to Jamsil, and the right one depends on where you sleep. Which Jamsil Do You Mean?
Jamsil Station (Line 2 and Line 8) is the hub. Lotte World Tower and its mall sit beside it, with Signiel Seoul on floors 76 to 101, and Lotte Hotel World stands next to Lotte World. Seokchon Lake lies beside the tower. The Sports Complex is two Line 2 stops west of Jamsil and also on Line 9.
1. Incheon Airport to Jamsil by Airport Limousine bus
Incheon Airport Corp lists three routes that matter here; each is confirmed on its operator’s page.
- 6200 (Seoul Airport Limousine): ₩17,000 adult, ₩11,000 child. The first Seoul stop is “Jamsil Station, Lotte World” (stop 24715), non-stop from the airport; it then runs east past Jamsil apartments to Olympic Center and Asan Medical Center. T1 05:50 to 23:05 from 1F bay 4A or 4B; T2 05:30 to 22:45 from B1 bays 14 to 16. Every 20 to 50 minutes, 38 runs a day.
- 6705A (Korea Airport Limousine): ₩18,000 adult, ₩12,000 child (6 to 12). Non-stop to Lotte World Hotel Jamsil, then Dongseoul Bus Terminal, Gwangnaru and Walkerhill. T1 05:20 to 23:15 from 1F bay 4; T2 05:00 to 22:55 from B1 bay 19. Every 25 to 45 minutes.
- 6006 (Seoul Airport Limousine): ₩17,000, via Apgujeong, Galleria and COEX to Jamsil Sports Complex and Jamsilsaenae. T1 06:20 to 23:10, T2 06:00 to 22:50, 27 runs a day. Only for the Sports Complex area.
No operator publishes a daytime ride time. Incheon Airport lists 70 minutes from T1 to the Lotte World stop on the night bus (90 from T2), and Lotte Hotel World says 6705A takes about 70 minutes from the hotel to T1. For daytime plan on 70 to 100 minutes from T1 (estimate). Seoul city’s page quoting ₩5,000-15,000 for airport buses is outdated.
Tickets are sold at booths and kiosks. The KKday K-Limousine ticket works on 6705A and N6703 only, not 6200 or 6006. The same page lists a K-Limousine plus Lotte World ticket package at ₩51,300 (₩59,000 list price).
Coming back is earlier: Lotte Hotel World lists the last 6705A to the airport at 19:15. The operator lists 19:35 for the last 6200 from its first stop, Hwangsan, so Jamsil is later (time not read). Use the subway or a taxi for evening flights.
2. Incheon Airport to Jamsil by AREX and Line 2
AREX does not reach Jamsil. The all-stop train to Hongik Univ. costs ₩4,650 from T1 and ₩5,250 from T2 on a transport card (single-journey card +₩100). AREX publishes 59 minutes (T1) and 66 minutes (T2) to Seoul Station only; Hongik Univ. is two stops earlier, about 53 minutes from T1 on third-party timetables.
At Hongik Univ. change to Line 2 toward Sinchon and City Hall and ride 20 stops to Jamsil, about 40 to 45 minutes (estimate). The whole trip is about 100 to 110 minutes from the T1 platform, plus 7 from T2.
No combined fare is published. AREX’s fare rules give Seoul’s formula (₩1,550 up to 10 km, then ₩100 per 5 km up to 50 km), which puts the Line 2 leg at roughly ₩1,550-2,250: about ₩6,200-6,900 from T1 and ₩6,800-7,500 from T2 (estimate).
Luggage: AREX lists 6 elevators, 20 escalators and 2 moving walks at Hongik Univ. Seoul city counts 2 elevators and 8 escalators at Line 2 Hongik Univ., and 4 elevators and 8 escalators at Line 2 Jamsil.
Alternative: AREX to Gimpo Airport (₩4,350 from T1, ₩4,950 from T2), then Line 9 to Sports Complex or Seokchon, where Line 8 is one stop from Jamsil. No official running time is published, so use this route only if you are staying near those stations. The ₩13,000 AREX Express ends at Seoul Station; skip it.
3. Last 1 km: from the stop to your hotel
Per Lotte World Tower, Jamsil Station Line 2 exits 1 and 2 are 25 m from the tower entrance, with a passage to B1F of Lotte World Mall. Line 8 exits 10 and 11 are 300 m away.
For Lotte Hotel World, go through the Jamsil Station gate toward Exit 3, straight between Lotteria and Lotte Department Store, follow the “LOTTE HOTELS” sign, and take the stairs or lift at “Hotel Lobby/Charlotte” to the 1st floor. The hotel says the lift runs 24 hours and recommends it with luggage or at night.
Signiel Seoul is inside the tower. The airport.kr lists show no Signiel stop, so use the Jamsil Station or Lotte Hotel World stop and walk through the mall. Seokchon Lake has a 2.5 km perimeter and is open 24 hours (Visit Seoul). Sports Complex: 6006 stops at “Jamsil Sports Complex”.

4. Taxi, Uber and International Taxi: Incheon Airport to Jamsil
Seoul city’s taxi table has no Jamsil entry. It gives 80 to 90 minutes and ₩53,000-58,500 to the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, plus the expressway toll, so that is the benchmark here. This is an estimate, not a quote.
- Samseong to Lotte World Tower: Add roughly 4 to 6 km more (check on Naver Map). At ₩100 per 131 m that adds about ₩3,050-4,600, giving ₩56,050-63,100.
- Toll: ₩3,200 for a standard car at the Incheon Airport toll gate (Shin Airport Hiway tariff, effective 1 October 2023); Seoul city’s ₩7,900 is stale. By day: about ₩59,000-66,000.
- 23:00 to 02:00: the meter rises 40% (airport.kr), so ₩56,050 x 1.4 = ₩78,500 and ₩63,100 x 1.4 = ₩88,300, plus the toll: about ₩82,000-92,000. It is 20% from 22:00 to 23:00 and 02:00 to 04:00.
- International Taxi flat fare for zone E (includes Songpa): ₩95,000 sedan, ₩140,000 SUV, van or deluxe (Seoul city). Ask whether the toll is included.

5. Early, late and terminal differences for Incheon Airport to Jamsil
- T1 vs T2: 6200 and 6705A serve T2 first, 20 minutes before T1. AREX costs ₩600 more from T2, and N6703 takes 90 minutes from T2 against 70 from T1.
- Landing at 05:00: first AREX T1 05:14 and T2 05:08; first 6705A T2 05:00 and T1 05:20; first 6200 T2 05:30 and T1 05:50. After immigration and bags, 6200 is the realistic first bus.
- Landing at 23:00: the last 6200 leaves T1 at 23:05 and T2 at 22:45, the last 6705A T1 at 23:15 and T2 at 22:55. The last AREX trains reaching Hongik Univ. leave T1 at 23:38 and T2 at 23:32 (the 23:56 and 23:50 trains end at Digital Media City), so Hongik near 00:30 (estimate). Do not count on a Line 2 connection after that.
- After midnight: N6703, ₩18,000 (child ₩12,000), leaves T1 at 23:40, 00:20, 01:05, 01:45, 03:50 and 04:50, and T2 at 23:20, 00:00, 00:45, 01:25, 03:30 and 04:30. Buy at the booth, machine or Tmoney GO app. The 23:40 from T1 reaches Lotte World about 00:50.
