Bottom line: the KPop Demon Hunters Seoul locations are real, free-to-walk places in the city, and Netflix’s own Tudum guide lists nine of them: Bukchon, Cheongdam Bridge, Coex K-Pop Square, Gyeongbokgung, Lotte World Tower, Myeongdong, Naksan Park, N Seoul Tower and Seoul Olympic Stadium. You can see most of them in one long day, and a guided tour from ₩144,164 covers six in about eight hours.

What this guide covers
What Are the KPop Demon Hunters Seoul Locations?
KPop Demon Hunters is a Netflix animated film about a K-pop girl group, HUNTR/X, that also hunts demons. Its backdrops are drawn from real Seoul, and Netflix published a Tudum locations guide on 5 December 2025 that names nine real places behind scenes in the film. Some buildings in the film are fictional, such as the stadium under N Seoul Tower and a penthouse tower taller than the real Lotte World Tower.

1. The 9 Locations on Netflix’s Official List
For a wider K-pop itinerary beyond this film, use the Kpop Seoul guide.
The nine locations at a glance
| Place | Film link (per Netflix Tudum) | Cost and hours (as of Oct 2026) | Nearest station / address |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bukchon Hanok Village | Rumi and Jinu meet and sing “Free” | Free; visit 10:00-17:00 (red zone closed to tourists 17:00-10:00) | Anguk or Gyeongbokgung area; Bukchon-ro 11-gil, 37 Gyedong-gil |
| Cheongdam Bridge | Train fight, “Takedown” | Free; view from Ttukseom Hangang Park | Jayang Station (Line 7) Exit 3, about 390 m |
| Coex K-Pop Square | “Golden” reveal on the LED screen | Free outdoor plaza; media screen on from early morning to midnight | Samseong Station (Line 2) Exit 6, about 274 m; 513 Yeongdong-daero |
| Gyeongbokgung | Jinu flashback | ₩3,000 adults; closed Tuesdays | Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3); 161 Sajik-ro |
| Lotte World Tower | HUNTR/X penthouse inspired by it | Seoul Sky ticket from about US$20; 10:30-22:00 Sun-Thu | Jamsil Station (Line 2); 300 Olympic-ro |
| Myeongdong | Saja Boys “Soda Pop”; tile pattern outside Myeongdong Theater | Free street; shops and stalls open late | Myeongdong Station (Line 4) |
| Naksan Park | Second Rumi and Jinu meeting | Free; open 24 hours | 41 Naksan-gil; Hyehwa or Dongdaemun area |
| N Seoul Tower | Saja Boys concert (fictional stadium beneath the tower) | Observatory ₩29,000 adult; 10:00-22:30 | Namsan; walk up or take the cable car from Myeongdong |
| Seoul Olympic Stadium | HUNTR/X opening concert, “How It’s Done” | Free from outside; inside open on event days only | Sports Complex Station (Line 2 and 9), Jamsil |
2. Bukchon Hanok Village and the Visiting Curfew
Bukchon is where Netflix places the first Rumi and Jinu meeting, and it is the stop with the strictest rules. It is a residential neighbourhood, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government restricts tourist visits to the Bukchon-ro 11-gil “red zone” (about 34,000 square metres) from 17:00 to 10:00 the next day. Fines of ₩100,000 have applied since 1 March 2025. VisitKorea lists the area as free to visit from 10:00 to 17:00 and adds that chartered tour buses are banned within about 2.3 km from 1 January 2026 (₩300,000), so arrive by subway and walk.

Keep voices low, do not enter private yards and never block a doorway for a photo. If you want to dress up for the hanok backdrop, hanbok rental gives free palace entry at Gyeongbokgung, which is a short walk away.
3. Gyeongbokgung and Naksan Park
Gyeongbokgung is the Joseon-era palace Netflix lists for Jinu’s flashback. The palace is closed on Tuesdays (the next business day if a holiday falls on one). Hours follow the season: 09:00-17:00 from November to February (last entry 16:00), 09:00-18:00 in March to May and September to October (last entry 17:00) and 09:00-18:30 in June to August (last entry 17:30). Adults pay ₩3,000, and the palace’s own site, royal.khs.go.kr, lists discounts and free groups. Visitors who wear hanbok enter free.

Naksan Park is the best free stop on the list. The Seoul Fortress wall that wraps the hill is the backdrop for Rumi and Jinu’s second conversation, VisitKorea says. The park is open 24 hours, entry is free, and the Naksan Gallery is open 09:00-17:00.

4. N Seoul Tower and Myeongdong
In the film the Saja Boys perform in a fictional stadium under N Seoul Tower. The real tower sits on Namsan, and VisitKorea lists its observatory hours as 10:00-22:30. The tower’s own schedule runs to 23:00 on weekends and holidays. Observatory tickets are ₩29,000 for adults and the Namsan cable car is ₩15,000 round trip; the full price table and the cheapest way up are in the N Seoul Tower tickets guide. KKday sells N Seoul Tower tickets from ₩19,900 (4.6/5 from 6,459 reviews, as of Oct 2026) as an e-voucher you exchange at the tower.

⭐ 4.6/5 from 6,459 KKday reviews · from ₩19,900 · e-voucher sent by email, exchanged at the tower (as of Oct 2026)

Myeongdong is the Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” stop, and Netflix points out the tile pattern outside Myeongdong Theater. It is a shopping and street-food district that gets very crowded at night. If you want the quieter side of the area, read Myeongdong Is Not Seoul before you plan dinner.

5. Lotte World Tower, Olympic Stadium, Cheongdam Bridge and Coex
The southern stops are far from the old city, so group them on a separate half day. Lotte World Tower inspired the HUNTR/X penthouse. Its Seoul Sky observatory (300 Olympic-ro, Songpa) opens 10:30-22:00 Sunday to Thursday and 10:30-23:00 on Friday and Saturday, and ticket sales stop one hour before closing. Seoul Sky tickets on Klook start at about US$20.49 for direct entry (4.8/5 from 7.7K reviews, as of Oct 2026); the fast pass is US$48.65.

⭐ 4.8/5 from 7.7K Klook reviews · direct entry about US$20.49, fast pass US$48.65 · 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa (as of Oct 2026)
Seoul Olympic Stadium is the film’s opening-concert venue. It was built for the 1988 Summer Olympics (some write-ups misprint the year), and the inside is usually open only on event days, so check stadium.seoul.go.kr and plan to photograph it from outside.

Cheongdam Bridge is the film’s train-fight location. Visit Seoul says it is Korea’s first double-deck bridge, with Subway Line 7 on the lower deck. You can walk to it from Jayang Station (Line 7) Exit 3, about 390 m, but the best view of the whole bridge is from Ttukseom Hangang Park near Ttukseom Resort Station (Line 7).

Coex K-Pop Square is the plaza where the “Golden” reveal plays out on a giant LED screen. It is a free outdoor plaza at 513 Yeongdong-daero, about 274 m from Samseong Station (Line 2) Exit 6, with 3D wave media art.
6. Guided KPop Demon Hunters Tours Compared
A tour makes sense if you do not want to plan transfers between the palace, Bukchon, Naksan and the tower. Klook and KKday do not list a KPop Demon Hunters tour of their own as of October 2026, so GetYourGuide is the place to look. I read these listings on 17-18 October 2026.
| Tour | Length | Rating | From (per person) | What is included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| K-Pop Demon Hunters Filming Location Tour | 8 hours | 5.0 (5 reviews) | ₩144,164 | Guide, transport, Gyeongbokgung ticket, Seoul Tower cable car, kimbap and hot dog, hotel pickup; stops at Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon, Naksan Park, N Seoul Tower and Myeongdong |
| KPop Demon Hunters Toy and Animation Street Walking Tour | 3 hours | 5.0 (1 review) | ₩56,875 | Walking tour; the short, cheap option |
| K-Pop Demon Hunters Tour with Lunch and Hotel Pickup (private) | 9 hours | 4.6 (4 reviews) | ₩213,576 | Private day with lunch and hotel pickup |
| N Seoul Tower and Myeongdong Night Tour | 4 hours | 5.0 (7 reviews) | ₩139,000 | Small group of up to 6, one-way Namsan cable car, evening walk |
The main GetYourGuide tour offers free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead and a “reserve now, pay later” option. It is run by Seoul City Tour, has a wheelchair-accessible listing and uses live guides in English, Chinese and Japanese. Ratings rest on few reviews, so read recent comments first.

Mistakes to Avoid on a KPop Demon Hunters Seoul Trip
- Arriving at Bukchon after 17:00: the red zone is closed to tourists and the fine is ₩100,000.
- Going to Gyeongbokgung on a Tuesday, when the palace is closed.
- Expecting to walk inside the Olympic Stadium on an ordinary day; it opens for events only.
- Looking for the fictional stadium under N Seoul Tower or a taller penthouse tower; those are film inventions.
- Cramming Jamsil, Coex and the old city into one afternoon; the south and the old city are an hour apart.
