Bottom line: for an Incheon Airport pickup with a named driver, expect about ₩61,500 to ₩127,000 per car on KKday and GetYourGuide (checked 15 October 2026), against an indicative ₩47,000 to ₩58,500 on the taxi meter plus a ₩3,200 toll; book the pickup for late landings, four or more bags or a group, and take the AREX train or airport bus if you travel light.

Incheon Airport pickup means a driver waiting for you after immigration, a fixed price agreed before you fly, and a car that takes you to the hotel door instead of a bus stop. It costs more than the train, so the real question is when it is worth it. Prices come from the booking sites that sell it, the official taxi figures from Incheon Airport and Seoul city, and the late-night options, all dated October 2026. Figures marked “estimate” are rounded calculations.
Quick answer
- Pre-booked price: about ₩61,500 to ₩127,000 per car to central Seoul by site; larger vans cost more.
- Meter price: an indicative ₩47,000 to ₩58,500 plus a ₩3,200 toll by day; add 40% from 23:00 to 02:00.
- Official flat fare: International Taxi charges ₩70,000 to ₩95,000 for a sedan by district, booked 24 hours ahead.
- Waiting time: 90 minutes after landing is included by GetYourGuide and Kiwitaxi; the driver follows your flight.
- Late arrivals: the last AREX all-stop train that reaches Seoul Station leaves T1 at 23:38 and T2 at 23:32, so a booked car is the easy answer after that.
- Light bags, daytime: the AREX train is a fraction of the price. Read the comparison first.

What this guide covers
Incheon Airport Pickup: What You Are Actually Buying
An Incheon Airport pickup is a one-way private car, priced per vehicle rather than per person. The driver tracks your flight, meets you at arrivals, helps with bags and drives to an address you give at booking. It is not the same as the airport taxi rank, where a metered taxi takes whoever is next in line, and it is not the same as the airport limousine bus, which is a ticketed seat on a fixed route.

Marketplaces (GetYourGuide and KKday) list local suppliers, Kiwitaxi and Welcome Pickups are dedicated transfer companies, and the official International Taxi is a taxi with a flat zone fare. Each is covered below with the number you pay.
1. Taxi, International Taxi or Pre-Booked Pickup?
The decision comes down to bags, group size and the hour you land. Here is the comparison, with the source and date of every figure.
| Option | Price to central Seoul | Seats | Booking | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metered taxi (airport stand) | Indicative ₩47,000 to ₩58,500 plus ₩3,200 toll (estimate); +40% from 23:00 to 02:00 | 4 (standard), 9 (jumbo) | None; stands 5C, 6C, 6D (T1) and 7C (T2) | Anyone, no planning |
| International Taxi | ₩70,000 to ₩95,000 sedan; ₩100,000 to ₩140,000 SUV or van, by district | Sedan or van | At least 24 hours ahead; stands 4C (T1), 3C (T2) | Fixed official price |
| KKday private car | Listings run from ₩61,500 to ₩72,114; economy 7-seater from ₩70,931 on the airport page | About 3 to 6 | Online, free cancellation 2 days ahead on most listings | Families, flexible drop-off |
| GetYourGuide private transfer | From ₩127,000 per car | Up to 4 per car | Online, free cancellation 24 hours ahead | Name sign, 90 min free wait |
| Kiwitaxi | Kiwitaxi: $82 sedan, $101 minivan, $148 minibus (7) | 4 to 7 | Online, pay in advance | Larger groups |
| Welcome Pickups | Welcome Pickups: from €98 sedan, €105 minivan | 3 to 6 | Online; 24/7 support | Flight monitoring |
| AREX all-stop train | ₩4,750 (T1) or ₩5,350 (T2) to Seoul Station | Any | Tap a transit card | Light bags by day |

2. Pre-Booked Incheon Airport Pickup Prices Compared
KKday. The airport page lists private cars by drop-off point. On 16 October 2026 an economy 7-seater (about 3 passengers) was from ₩70,931 and a comfort 10-seater (about 6) from ₩91,408 to listed Seoul points such as Seoul Station and Gimpo Airport. Individual listings run from ₩61,500 (4.7 from 1,920 reviews) to ₩72,114 (4.8 from 3,004 reviews), with free cancellation 2 days before. Start on the KKday Incheon airport transfer page; prices depend on the drop-off address, so enter your hotel before you judge.

GetYourGuide. The Seoul private transfer to or from Incheon Airport is run by supplier GUIVING and was from ₩127,000 per group of up to 4, rated 4.8 from 1,284 reviews on 15 October 2026. The listing says the driver waits at the arrivals gate with a name sign, gives up to 90 minutes of free waiting after landing and 30 minutes at a hotel, and includes fuel, tolls and parking. Drivers speak English, Indonesian and Korean. Cancel free up to 24 hours before.

Kiwitaxi. For Incheon Airport to Seoul on 15 October 2026 the page showed a comfort sedan (4 passengers, 3 bags) at $82, a minivan (4 passengers, 4 bags) at $101, a 7-seat minibus at $148 and a premium minibus (6 passengers, 4 bags) at $266. Its terms give 1 hour 30 minutes of free waiting for airport pickups. You pay in advance, so there is nothing to settle in the car. At the rate the page itself used, $82 is about ₩116,000.

Welcome Pickups. The Welcome Pickups Seoul page listed a sedan for up to 3 passengers from €98 and a minivan for up to 6 from €105 to the city centre. At the €1 = ₩1,500 rate implied on the same page, the sedan is about ₩147,000. It markets flight monitoring and 24/7 support. One flag: the same page says the pre-booked fare is “the same price as a regular taxi from the line”, yet its own meter guide puts a taxi at about ₩48,000, so treat that line as marketing, not a price match.

Which is best? KKday’s economy cars for the lowest price, GetYourGuide for the clearest meeting terms, Kiwitaxi’s $148 minibus for seven people. All four show “from” prices, so compare the same date and drop-off.
3. How the Driver Finds You at Arrivals
The one thing a listing cannot tell you is where in a very large hall your driver stands. GetYourGuide says the driver waits “in front of the arrival gate for your flight” with a name sign. Kiwitaxi sends meet-up instructions in the voucher. Ask your supplier to confirm the pillar, door number and terminal by message before you fly.
Allow for immigration and baggage. The airport’s own advice for bus planning is 1 to 2 hours between landing and the bus you book, and a pickup driver watches your flight, so a slow passport queue costs nothing inside the free waiting window. Recent GetYourGuide reviews (3 to 13 October 2026) mention drivers texting a photo and meeting instructions; those are traveller reviews, not promises.
Check your terminal on your boarding documents; the Incheon Airport to Seoul guide explains T1, T2 and the free shuttle between them.
4. Incheon Airport Pickup for Late-Night and Early Arrivals
This is where a booked car earns its price. Incheon Airport’s own taxi table gives a 40% surcharge from 23:00 to 02:00 and 20% from 22:00 to 23:00 and from 02:00 to 04:00. A ₩50,000 ride can pass ₩70,000 once the surcharge and toll land. Kiwitaxi says its fare usually does not depend on the time of day, and booking sites quote no late-night extra, so the price gap narrows after 23:00.

The public options after midnight are thin. The last all-stop AREX that reaches Seoul Station leaves Terminal 1 at 23:38 and Terminal 2 at 23:32; the later 23:56 and 23:50 trains end at Digital Media City. Night buses N6000, N6002, N6701 and N6703 run until about 04:40 but leave on set times, with gaps. If your destination is not on a night route, a pre-booked car is the practical answer. For route detail see Incheon Airport to Hongdae and Incheon Airport to Gangnam.
Early arrivals are easier: the taxi surcharge ends at 04:00. Either way, give the real flight number.
5. The Metered and International Taxi Route in Detail
If you decide against a booked car, use the marked stands: 5C, 6C and 6D at Terminal 1 and 7C at Terminal 2 for a standard taxi, with the standard base fare at ₩4,800. Airport rules put the International Taxi and Smart Taxi at 4C (T1) and 3C (T2). The airport warns that call vans posing as taxis overcharge, so ignore anyone who approaches you in the hall.

International Taxi is the official flat-fare option. Seoul city lists sedan fares of ₩70,000 (Gangseo, zone A), ₩75,000 (Mapo, Yeongdeungpo, zone B), ₩85,000 (Jung, Jongno, Yongsan, zone C), ₩90,000 (Gangnam, Dongdaemun, Seongdong, zone D) and ₩95,000 (Songpa, zone E); SUVs, vans and deluxe cars are ₩100,000 to ₩140,000. Book at least 24 hours ahead. The operator and Seoul’s Korean fare page say zone fares include tolls, but the English city page lists tolls under extra charges, so confirm when you book.

International Taxi costs roughly ₩15,000 to ₩45,000 more than the meter by day (estimate). For app rides later, see the Kakao T taxi guide.

Mistakes to Avoid
- Booking the wrong terminal. Check your ticket; T1 and T2 are separate halls.
- Comparing “from” prices. Enter your hotel and date; the real price depends on the drop-off.
- Giving only an English hotel name. Add the address and a phone number the driver can use.
- Having no data on landing. You need a way to message the driver; set up an eSIM first.
- Booking a sedan for four with bags. A sedan seats 4 but holds 3 bags; pick a minivan.
- Following a hall tout to a “taxi”. Call vans are the airport’s own warning.
- Assuming a train is always cheaper. After 23:38 a car may be your only door-to-door option.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is an Incheon Airport pickup to Seoul?
On 15 October 2026 pre-booked cars to central Seoul started around ₩61,500 to ₩72,000 on KKday (economy cars, about 3 passengers), ₩127,000 per car of up to 4 on GetYourGuide, $82 on Kiwitaxi and €98 on Welcome Pickups. Larger vans cost more. The official International Taxi flat fare is ₩70,000 to ₩95,000 for a sedan by district.
Is a pre-booked Incheon Airport pickup cheaper than a taxi?
Usually not by day. A metered taxi is an indicative ₩47,000 to ₩58,500 plus the ₩3,200 toll. A pre-booked pickup costs more but is a fixed price, includes waiting time and an English-speaking contact. At night, when the meter adds 40%, the gap narrows.
How does my driver find me at Incheon Airport?
On the GetYourGuide listing the driver waits at the arrivals gate for your flight holding a name sign. Kiwitaxi sends a voucher with meet-up instructions. Confirm the exact spot with the supplier before you fly, so ask which pillar or door number the driver will use.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
The GetYourGuide listing includes up to 90 minutes of free waiting after landing for airport pickups, and Kiwitaxi states the same 1 hour 30 minutes. Welcome Pickups says it monitors flights. Give your real flight number when you book so the driver can follow it.
Can I book an Incheon Airport pickup for a late-night arrival?
Yes. Kiwitaxi says its price usually does not depend on the time of day, while a metered taxi gets a 40% surcharge from 23:00 to 02:00. After about 23:30 the AREX all-stop train no longer reaches Seoul Station, so a pre-booked car is the simplest late option.
Do I need a Korean phone number to use an Incheon Airport pickup?
No. Booking is done online with your own email, and the voucher shows the driver contact. You still need data on landing to message the driver, so install an eSIM before you fly or use airport Wi-Fi.
Is International Taxi the same as a private transfer?
No. International Taxi is a Seoul-designated taxi service with English, Chinese and Japanese speaking drivers and flat zone fares from ₩70,000 to ₩95,000 for a sedan. Private transfers are sold by booking sites and priced per car, with a named meeting point.
Can I get a child seat with an Incheon Airport pickup?
GetYourGuide lists child car seats on request for an extra fee, and Kiwitaxi says a child seat can be added if you ask. Request it at booking, since a taxi from the stand does not carry one.
