What this guide covers
What Halloween Costumes Korea Shops Sell Right Now
Halloween is a night-out and theme-park holiday in Korea, so costumes come as cheap accessories, party-shop capes and sets, and wholesale stock. Most visitors mix them: a ₩1,000 headband, a cape and face paint. Prices below are from each shop’s own list on 21 October 2026; check the shop before you travel.

1. Daiso: Halloween Costumes Korea Sells From ₩1,000
Every price on Daiso’s Halloween shelf is ₩5,000 or less, and a “Halloween” search on Daiso Mall returned 90 items on 21 October 2026. The wearable ones included:
- pumpkin headband, ₩1,000
- witch-hat, ghost LED (2 lights) and pumpkin LED (4 lights) headbands, ₩2,000 each
- pumpkin LED glasses, ₩2,000
- goblin-horn or witch-hat hair pins, bracelets, necklaces and tattoo stickers, ₩1,000
- moving fox hat, ₩5,000
- prop axe or trident, ₩1,000 each

Three of the headbands were marked temporarily out of stock online, so use Daiso Mall’s stock tool, as explained in our Daiso Korea guide. The Myeongdong Station Store (134-1 Toegye-ro, 12 floors) is open 10:00 to 22:00, and Daiso also has Hongdae branches at 25 Hongik-ro and 182 Yanghwa-ro. Leave prop weapons at the hotel on park days (see section 5). More cheap buys: Korea souvenirs under 10,000 won.
2. Joy Party: Full Halloween Costumes Korea Party Shops Stock
Joy Party is a party-supply chain with Halloween sections for costumes, capes, masks, wigs and make-up props. Hongdae (12 Dongmak-ro 19-gil, ground floor) is open 10:00 to 19:00 and closed on Sundays and public holidays. Gangnam (320 Hakdong-ro, Nonhyeon-dong, 4th floor of the Sinwoo Building) is open 09:00 to 20:00 every day. Its other Seoul branches keep shorter hours.
- Headbands: witch-hat, bat, pumpkin and cat, ₩2,500 to ₩3,000
- Masks and props: scream mask ₩2,000, vampire fangs ₩1,500, fake blood ₩3,000
- Capes: Dracula cape ₩15,000, adult velvet cape ₩20,000
- Party costumes: zombie bride, vampire, witch and mummy sets, ₩29,000 to ₩40,000 in S/M or M/L sizes

Check the size label before you buy. Joy Party also sells online in Korean and says weekday orders confirmed by 14:00 ship the same day, but courier delivery needs a Korean address, so a store visit is safer for a short trip. Find branches with Naver Map in English.
3. Dongdaemun and Namdaemun: Wholesale Halloween Costumes
Jongno District’s tourism site says Dongdaemun’s stationery and toy wholesale market in Changsin-dong dates from the mid-1970s. VisitKorea lists nearly 120 stores selling children’s gifts, decorations and party products at prices nearly 30 to 40% below retail, open 08:00 to 19:00, and Korea Times reported that its toy shops stock costume supplies for children and adults.

Take Dongdaemun Station (Lines 1 and 4) Exit 4, walk about 50 m and turn right, or Dongmyo Station (Line 6) Exit 6. Holidays vary by store, so go on a weekday. VisitKorea adds that out-of-season stock can fall by more than half, so the days after Halloween are the cheapest time to buy for next year. Namdaemun Market is the second option: VisitKorea lists it as closed on Sundays and open 09:00 to 17:30, and Korea Times photographed Halloween decorations on sale there in October 2022. Expect decorations and accessories rather than finished costumes.
4. Renting Halloween Costumes in Korea
Everland’s Blood City Zero zone runs a Zombie Costume Room and Zombie Makeup Salon, according to the Samsung C&T newsroom of 6 October 2026. KKday lists an Everland package with a school-uniform rental from ₩65,000 including entry, against ₩42,000 for the 1-Day Pass alone. The uniform shop is next to the main entrance, asks for a ₩10,000 cash deposit and your passport, and lets each guest try two styles.

Korean mail-order sites such as Ddaengshop (in Korean) rent themed sets by courier: on 21 October it listed a grim reaper set at ₩27,000 plus ₩3,500 delivery and a K-Pop Demon Hunters Saja Boys costume at ₩50,000. That suits a long stay better than a weekend. A hanbok rental is a ready-made Korean costume too, and Lotte World’s Hanbok Culture Week (19 to 31 October) gives hanbok wearers 50% off their own all-access pass; see Gyeongbokgung hanbok rules.
5. What Parks, Clubs and Parties Allow
A costume that works on a Hongdae street can fail at a park gate. Lotte World Adventure’s published rules (in Korean) say:
- Masks covering more than two thirds of the face are banned, except medical masks, and so are face-hiding headgear and make-up that other guests may find disgusting.
- Carrying guns, knives and similar items counts as behaviour that creates anxiety; paint and spray are banned too.
- Costumes identical to cast members, clothes that drag on the floor and heavy metal decoration are banned.
- Changing in restrooms in a way that bothers other guests is banned; use the changing room on the first basement level of Flyventure.

Parties set their own terms. Comicalloween in Itaewon on Saturday 31 October runs 21:00 to 05:00 for guests aged 19 and over, and its 23:30 costume contest accepts only film or TV characters. Clubs and bars choose their own dress and entry rules, so check the event page and carry your passport; our Hongdae guy and Itaewon guy guide and Seoul nightlife guide cover door checks, and Halloween in Seoul covers crowd safety.
