1. The 171 T-Lockers at Hongik University Station
For Hongdae luggage storage in the station, Seoul Metro’s dataset (30 June 2026) lists five banks at Hongik University Station on Line 2, 171 lockers in all for Hongdae luggage storage. Lockers 1 to 33 and 34 to 65 are near Exits 2 and 8. Lockers 66 to 113 and 114 to 143 are also at Exits 2 and 8, opposite the fare gates by the toilets. Lockers 144 to 171 are in the corridor between Exits 2 and 3.
Because it is such a large bank, it is the most likely place to find a free large locker in Hongdae.

2. T-Luggage in the AREX Passage
The staffed counter for Hongdae luggage storage is the T-Luggage Hongik University counter. Seoul city lists it at B1 near Exits 3 and 4; the operator’s Korean page says it is inside the Line 2 B1 connecting passage to the airport railroad. An older English page from the operator put it between Exits 2 and 3. The sources differ by a few metres, so follow the T-Luggage sign in the AREX passage. Hours are 09:00 to 22:00 daily and staff take any size.

4. Zimcarry and Shop Storage Around Hongdae
A private operator also has a counter inside the station. Zimcarry (짐캐리) lists a Hongik University Station shop on B2, opposite Exit 5 inside the station, open daily 09:00 to 21:50. Its own price list for suitcases per 4 hours is ₩5,000 up to 55 cm, ₩8,000 for 56 to 70 cm and ₩10,000 for 71 cm and over (daily maximums ₩10,000, ₩18,000 and ₩20,000), plus ₩1,000 or ₩2,000 per extra hour.
Delivery starts at ₩20,000 a bag: drop at the shop 09:00 to 15:00 and collect 16:00 to 22:00, or hand bags over at your hotel by 11:00 for arrival 16:00 to 20:00. Carry some cash as a back-up in case your card is declined.
